About First Step Housing & Our Board

Our Mission:

To help put an end to the housing crisis across the Lehigh Valley and the United states by developing and providing attainable housing to all individuals no matter what stage of life they are in.

Our Goal:

To have provided attainable housing for 1,000 families and 2,500 individuals by the year 2030.

Attainable vs Affordable Housing:

People are often confused by the difference between attainable housing and affordable housing. Attainable housing can be afforded by people earning around the Area Median Income (AMI). Affordable housing is subsidized to allow people earning much less than the AMI to buy or rent a home.

Zachary Liptak – President

Zachary has a strong background in real estate and construction. He first got his license to practice real estate when he turned 18 and ever since has been heavily involved in the industry. Zachary has worked for some of the nations largest real estate firms, one of the Leigh Valleys largest property management companies, a multi billion dollar real estate investment company all while building his own construction company. He lead all types of construction projects from single/multi family new construction, to land development, to small apartment turn overs. Utilizing his construction connections he will be able to help the company build economically and efficiently.

Devery Robb – Treasure

Devery graduated from the University of New Haven with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She has worked as an executive assistant, in the tax accounting department at KPMG, LP, and as a fund accountant at a multi-billion dollar real estate investment company. With her knowledge in the tax and real estate investment world, she is ready to help utilize donations to provide attainable housing to the masses!
